Setting up your mobile devices can be very challenging especially when you are a novice to technology. depending on the type of mobile device you are using, setting up your Telkom. Sometimes, these settings are configured by default, while in some instances, you may need to set them up on your own to enjoy Telkom internet.

  1. Huawei mobile WiFi E5330 configurations.

    i. Power the device and connect it via a USB cable to your computer.
    ii. Open your browser and go to http://192.168.8.1.
    iii. A popup should appear. On top of it, click on the settings tab and use “admin” (without quotes) for both username and password.
    iv. Once you log in, go to “New Profile” and use “TelkomInternet” for both profile name and APN. v. Save and you are good to go.

  2. iOS

    i. Navigate to settings, cellular data, and then click on APN settings.
    ii. On the APN field, use TelkomInternet. That is all you have to do.

  3. Androids

    i. For android phones, go to settings and then open wireless and networks.
    ii. Navigate to mobile networks and choose access point names.
    iii. From the dropdown list, select the option of new APN.
    iv. On the name field in the window that comes up, use TelkomInternet then select ok.
    v. Use the same value on the APN field.
    vi. Go back to the dropdown list, click save.
    vii. Once you do that, the new configurations should appear on the list. Select the new settings and you are done.

  4. Windows

    i. Navigate to settings and then click on access point.
    ii. Click on the add button and use TelkomInternet as the connection name and the access point name fields.
    iii. Select the tick button and you are set.

  5. Blackberry Phones

    i. Navigate to Settings, then choose “device”.
    ii. Go to the advanced system settings and select TCP/IP and enable the APN setting.
    iii. Change the APN to TelkomInternet. Save that and browse.
