We change our names in the real world and so can we also do that in the online world. Facebook is not left out on this, you can as well do that on the number one social media website. Though you can’t just do that without being aware of some of their terms and conditions. Let’s tell you some of them.
Things to be aware of before changing your name on Facebook
Your name can’t include the following;
- Symbols, numbers, unusual capitalization, repeating characters, or punctuation.
- Titles of any kind (example: professional, religious).
- Words or phrases in place of a name.
How to change my name on Facebook
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- At the top right corner, click on the drop-down arrow.
- Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
- Click on Name.
- Type in your name and click on Review Change.
- Facebook will require your password, type it in the password bar.
- When you’re done, click on Save Changes.
