Although this method is easy and safe, it has its own requirements. For instance; to receive or send money, you will need to add a debit card or PayPal to Meta Pay. When you add a card to your Facebook account, money will be received automatically into your card. You do not need to take any action. When money is transferred, the notification simply lets you know it is on the way. Note that you may not be able to receive a payment if you are yet to add your debit or credit card. As such, when someone sends you money on Facebook and you have yet to provide your debit card info, the notification you receive upon payment from your friend or family includes an Add Card button.

Furthermore, payments can be made on Facebook via Facebook Pay. This is a payment method that customers can use to buy and pay for products. Facebook users who want to use Facebook Pay can do this by adding their payment, shipping, and personal information to the Facebook app. Then, when they buy products on social media or your business website, they can choose Facebook Pay at checkout.

To view pending payments, simply log in to your Facebook app. In the bottom right of the app Tap Settings & Privacy then tap Settings. Tap Purchases to see a list of the items you’ve purchased on Facebook, or tap Payments in Messenger to see a list of payments you’ve received or sent in Messenger.
