Altice Mobile which recently changed its name to Optimum mobile is one of America’s largest, fastest, and most reliable 5G networks. With Altice/Optimum mobile, you can make a switch from your current mobile network to Altice mobile.
To do this, select Keep my number during checkout. After purchase, you will receive an email letting you know when you can start your switch (port). You will need your current carrier Account Number, Account PIN (or Number Transfer PIN), and the last four digits of the social security number associated with the account to successfully transfer your phone number.
Below are the steps to take when making your switch to Optimum mobile.
Enter your Account Number, PIN, last four digits of your SSN, and ZIP code, then tap Start Transfer.
Note: If you start your transfer before your SIM card is delivered, you will temporarily lose access to your current phone number. Your account with your current carrier must also be active in order to bring your number over, so do not cancel it. Your number will not transfer until you activate your Optimum Mobile SIM card.
